2023/2024 Scholarships for Poor and Underprivileged Students

Instructions:

Please complete this on-line application form and email all other items mentioned below to info@socalubssl.org, and ba123s@sbcglobal.net. Additionally, renewal applicants in Bo must provide copies to Mrs. Beatrice Blake and renewal applicants in Freetown must provide copies to Ms. Hawanatu Bockarie. Provide a recent picture (in uniform for secondary school students) and write your name at the bottom of the picture. To be considered you must submit your application no later than September 30, 2019. Be sure to review 'checklist' below the submit button prior to application form submission.

College/School Name, Year/Form, Program of Study

Parent Info: (Include Name, Phone No., Employer Name, Job Title, Annual Salary, and Educational Background) and Sibling info (name, age, school/employment status.....)

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (you may include any additional information you would like to be considered)

PROFESSIONAL ASPIRATIONS AND PERSONAL STATEMENT: (Provide a brief statement of your educational goals and experiences, as well as your professional aspirations. Indicate the career choice(s) you are considering and specify how your current academic program and your overall educational plans will assist you in achieving your goal.)*

Checklist - Be sure to provide the following: (A) Scholarship application before September 30, 2019. (B) Letter of recommendation from teacher, professor, principal or vice principal.

(C) Complete, official and certified 2018/2019 academic results. Attestations are NOT acceptable. (D) Copy of University acceptance letter. (E) Recent student picture. (F) Personal statement.

Submit all the above via email to info@socalubssl.org and ba123s@sbcglobal.net, and provide copies to Ms. Hawantu Bockarie (Freetown) or Mrs. Beatrice Blake (Bo).
